U.S. Senate Votes To Defund ACORN Housing Funds

In light of the prostitution scandals, the U.S. Senate has voted to defund ACORN Housing by an 83-7 margin. Here are the seven leftists who voted no:

Burris (D-IL)
Casey (D-PA)
Durbin (D-IL)
Gillibrand (D-NY)
Leahy (D-VT)
Sanders (I-VT)
Whitehouse (D-RI)

Notice that both Illinois senators are on the list, proving you can't trust a politician in this state to do the right thing. Here are the nine yellowbellies who didn't take a stand:

Burr (R-NC)
Byrd (D-WV)
Coburn (R-OK)
Graham (R-SC)

Gregg (R-NH)
Hutchison (R-TX)
McCain (R-AZ)
Mikulski (D-MD)
Vitter (R-LA)

The most notable of these is McCain. Decisions like these are the reason why he lost. We'll have to see what kind of traction this gets in the House as well as its speaker, Nazzi Pelocchio. (HT Atlas Shrugs):
