Chitown Chilly For King Hussein

Resist. (HT AR15.com):

I gotta hand it to the UK press. They report stories that get spiked here in the US.

Case in point: a UK Times story on how some Chicagoans have become disenchanted with the leftist idol, one President Barack Hussein Obama. The best part about this is that the criticism comes from a major hotbed for gathering and talking current events: A barber shop on Chicago's South Side. No wonder the Matrix couldn't afford for this to get out!!

Here's an excerpt:

"Over the past year, Clay, known as Cee Cee, has watched his clients go from soaring enthusiasm to deep disillusion. Republicans, scenting blood after their stunning victory in liberal Massachusetts, have set their sights on Obama’s former Senate seat.

“Our customers talk politics all the time because they’re frightened — frightened of losing their homes and jobs,” said Cee Cee, wielding his razor on a heavily built butcher sporting a diamond earring. “I think Obama makes promises like all the other presidents but don’t really follow through. Maybe he has good intentions but he’s in the pigsty realm of Washington so his boots have got a little muddy.”

His colleague Sam is less understanding. “I don’t think he done nothing, the situation’s got worse and worse for me,” he complained. “His slogan was change but now he’s saying change is not just up to me. Well, that wasn’t what he said in the elections.”

Looks like the Kool-Aid lost its effect and reality has set in.

"The state of Illinois has been hit hard by the economic crisis, with unemployment at 10.8%. Gordy’s, which has been going for more than half a century, is the only shop left on the street, apart from the liquor store. Boarded-up windows are plastered with posters declaring bankruptcy, mortgage foreclosure, or auction.

Obama desperately tried to woo back these people last week with his first state of the union speech as his popularity slumped to below 50%. It was seen as critical after the shock of losing the Senate seat of the late Ted Kennedy, in Democrat hands for 50 years, to Scott Brown, a former male model. But his speech focused on jobs, promising $30 billion in credits to small businesses. “He tickled the ears,” said Cee Cee. “But we gotta see the follow-up.”

Even here in Obama heartland, one customer said he would vote Republican while others may not vote at all."

As time goes on, the more people find out what King Hussein is about, the less they'll like him, and consequently, tune him out. Virginia, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Obamacare are case studies. The November election will be an eye-opener. (HT UK Times):
